Empowering Victoria’s Renewable Future
To support VicGrid’s mission coordinating the planning and development of Victoria's Renewable Energy Zones, CreateBig developed the Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) Hub. This GIS-based decision-making platform for site planning, uses geographic data to evaluate and compare different site options by analysing multiple complex factors simultaneously, such as land use, biodiversity, cultural values, and renewable resource quality. The MCA Hub provides a suite of geospatial analysis and metadata management tools, delivering configurable and automated multi-criteria analysis modelling.
Geospatial Visualisation for Victoria’s Treaty Negotiations
CreateBig has helped Victoria’s Treaty Authority design and build ways to manage and visualise geospatial data for Victoria’s Traditional Owner Treaty Negotiations. The interactive web map, developed by CreateBig and designed in collaboration with the Treaty Authority, enables members of the public to explore key information about Victoria’s Treaty Negotiations. The map incorporates a variety of topographic data, and Traditional Owner and First Nations GIS data, including Registered Aboriginal Party boundaries and Native Title Determinations.
CreateBig acknowledges the Wurundjeri and Bunurong Peoples of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land that we stand on.
